Samples
Electrophoretic gel
1) On the day that electrophoresis is completed, cut out the protein spot (or band) of interest.
2) Put the excised gel section into an Eppendorf tube and send it by refrigerated delivery service to the address below.
3) Please inform our analysts of the electrophoresis date and mailing date before sending the gel.

Cutting out the sample
There is a tendency to include the outer edges of the band in order to collect as much sample as possible. However, this may impair analytical accuracy because of the low sample concentration in the outer edges.
A high-precision analysis can be achieved by cutting out only the dense part of the sample.
